Stephania’s background is extremely diversified with extensive jurist experience. First she served as a staff attorney for the San Francisco Superior Court. Later she was appointed to be an arbitrator for the San Mateo Superior Court. Since 2000, Stephania has been appointed to preside as a hearing officer for mobile home park litigation in Santa Cruz and in other cities throughout the state. More recently she has served as a judge pro tem for the Santa Cruz Superior Court, and sat as the Santa Cruz County Code Compliance Hearing Officer for four years.
