About Stephania Collaborative Practice Family Law Collaborative Practice Statewide |
About StephaniaI am a UC Hastings–trained San Francisco Bay Area and Santa Cruz County Collaborative Practice Attorney, Mediator and Neutral, with more than twenty years of experience. By 1992 I began to phase out my litigation-oriented law practice, and since that time I have devoted all my energies towards education, training and experience in various Alternative Dispute Resolution modalities, including mediation, arbitration and Collaborative Practice. I have been a mediator for the past decade. Currently, the focus of my law practice is on Collaborative Law and Mediation. I am not only trained in Mediation, Family Law and Collaborative Practice, but am also sensitive to the feelings and issues one faces during this major transition period in life. I have a highly developed sense of otherness consciousness, and believe that my experience and training for the past eighteen years at Mercy Center in Burlingame, California play a very significant role in my ability to be compassionate and understanding to all parties going through huge transitions. At the Mercy Center, I have studied and experienced applied spirituality through one-on-one spiritual direction, hundreds of hours of seminars and workshops on applied spirituality through Jungian Transpersonal Psychology, and broad Christian/universal principle constructs, dream work, Enneagram work, personal involvement in twelve-step programs, and as an artist. I can work one-on-one with you and your spouse or other party to resolve all pending issues, or I can work with other Collaborative Practice professionals in various disciplines to assist you in resolving every aspect of your divorce in an environment of mutual cooperation. Together we operate as a team. You and your family decide all aspects of your divorce: financial, emotional and legal. Maintaining a positive attitude can make — Stephania Francone Services
